What We've Been Up To
:
A look back to the happenings, events, and outreach initiatives of the past month or so.

We celebrated the launch of the new New York State Donate Life Registry at
Facebook Headquarters in New York City with advocates, legislators and fellow
CDT Executive Director Mike Thibault with Donate Life New York State Executive Director Aisha Tator and fellow donation advocates at the Registry Launch event.
members of Donate Life New York State on Nov ember 14th! It was truly a day of celebration, with the state's online registry becoming fully usable and available to all state residents!

On Giving Tuesday , we were  presented with a check for $1260 raised by our incredible healthcare partners in the Critical Care Unit at St. Peter's Hospital!  We are beyond grateful for the gift and support from this team, who raised the money by selling specially designed Donate Life shirts, which many of the team members wore when participating in this year's kLaVoy Donate Life Walk and Run! Thank you again to this amazing team for your love,
selflessness and dedication.

High School Students in the Medical Club at Bethlehem Central High School hosted a
donate life registry drive on Giving Tuesday, signing up several of their classmates and
high school staff on the Donate Life Organ and Tissue Registry! The students, many of whom plan to study in the medical and healthcare field when they head off to college, planned the event on their own with the help of their teacher and advisory, Mrs. Adrienne Mango-Ladd! Know a high school or college that may be interested in hosted their own registry drive? Let us know!
