Support the Tsavo Cheetah Project

for Earth Day!

The Tsavo Cheetah Project (TCP) works to protect and conserve the cheetahs in and surrounding the Tsavo East National Park in Kenya  through conducting research on their population and conservation status, while addressing threats to their survival.

We're raising funds for transportation costs that will enable the project to continue monitoring cheetahs throughout this large expanse, as well as with our current conservation programs. The goal amount of $1,500 will allow us to continue with these critical activities.

CAT Aware Program Launched in East Bay
Felidae brings important Conservation Education to schools

Since inception in 2010 Felidae's CAT Aware Teaching Program has educated over 18,000 elementary school, middle school and high school students in the San Francisco Bay Area region on mountain lion and bobcat ecology, their significance in ecosystems preservation, and how human development is impacting mountain lion and bobcat populations. Due to the tremendous

success of the program, this year CAT Aware has fully launched in the East Bay.

Camera Trap - Bear in Napa County

One of the critical monitoring tools Felidae uses in the Bay Area Puma Project is the camera trap - a motion-activated camera that allows us to monitor cats and other wildlife remotely and non-invasively.

A minimum donation of $350 provides you with first hand access to the images captured by Felidae's camera traps. These stations are windows into the world of elusive mountain lions and bobcats.

You will have the option to even choose the part of the Bay Area and to help us set-up the camera in the field!
