A Great Summer -- A Busy Fall
We are so excited that God did great things through UTK staff and short-term teams this summer. Although hurricanes have impacted the Fall, we continue to see God move.

360ONE TRIPS ARE EQUIPPING DISCIPLES

Beginning with the Auburn football team and staff, we had a full summer of short-term trips with long-term impact on local communities. Seven 360ONE (short-term trip) teams teams served the communities of Puerto Plata by encouraging local pastors and their churches as they share the gospel and build relationships in their villages. These groups helped to spread the gospel through water filters, solar lights, kids programming, a spa night and helping to re-roof and add on to the church in Hole of the Pigs; every team brought a spirit of unity and love as they jumped into the Sancocho Pot.

LABOR OF LOVE
We celebrate a new church plant with Pastor Paul Chemond (UTK staff) in the La 30 community where drugs and prostitution are a way of life.  With the help of our summer staffer Hallie Barnhart, the church started English classes and a children's Bible Study. The church grew from 5 in attendance in May to more than 20 by August - and still growing! A mid-day Bible Study and education program for ladies who have been working in the area as prostitutes was recently added. There are currently 5 women who participate and God is using the truth taught by Paul and the ladies from the church to impact their lives powerfully.

The Birmingham based Onin Group recently partnered with UTK to produce several inspiring videos to help promote and education our community and volunteer partners about the work we are doing in the DR. By capturing interviews, daily life in POP and our team at work, this creative process will help us to highlight the programs and communities we serve. We are so thankful the Onin and look forward to sharing these videos with your soon!

While they were at it, they had time to do ministry. They spent time consulting business, sharing the gospel through baseball and helping UTK host 2 community concerts.

Christian Velez concert was a bonus for us: Onin brought Christian to do community concerts and share his story or orphaned to adopted

PIECE OF THE PUZZLE

Whether you are a partner in prayer or in financial support- or came as a
360ONE participant, you have been a significant piece of the puzzle God is putting together for His glory in Puerto Plata. THANK YOU! Maybe God is calling you to do more, here is how you can help:

Please pray for discernment and provision of the necessary resources of time, vision and finances. Many of you have sponsored $40 water filter, providing 8 years of pure water to a family or sponsored a $10 solar light that has replaced candle or oil lamp light in a home making it safer. Thank you for your partnership with God in helping us to be the hands, feet and lips of God in Puerto Plata. Let us know if you would like more information on how you can support our ministry.

** Urgent** In addition to those needs, Brad and Brooke Jenkins are in need of monthly support. Would you consider a monthly contribution of $50, $100 or even $250 in support of the Jenkins or the UTK General Fund?
