Recently the National Charity League  Wildflowers Chapter held their annual Craft Day and volunteers created book marks from paint chips in a snowman pattern to donate to the library. The craft day highlights the philanthropies NCL serves and creates crafts to support those efforts. Mother-daughter volunteer pairs made over 100 cute snowman book marks from recycled materials.

The Wildflower Chapter is one of Barbara Bush Library's non-profit community partners providing mother-daughter volunteers for shelving, patron counts and summer reading program support.

NCL is the only national organization committed to fostering the mother-daughter relationship through philanthropic, leadership and cultural activities together and in peer groups. The Wildflowers chapter  was founded in 1996 and members reside in the Klein or Spring Independent School Districts or attend a private school or are home-schooled in those attendance zones.

Donate a book by their favorite author to the library in their honor. We will put a gift plate in the book to honor them, and send them a notice of your gift. Plus, you can count the donation as a 2013 tax deduction. Everybody wins! Contact the Branch Librarian today to start the process.
