Free Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides Take Place at Kamms Plaza -- One More Time!

Enjoy a ride around the plaza parking lot in a lovely horse-drawn carriage, compliments of Kamms Plaza management. One  chance remains for the free rides: Friday, December 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. Dress warmly and queue up under the tower corner of the plaza for this treat! Heavy rain or ice will stop the rides. Otherwise, it's fun for the entire family! Be sure to shop or dine at the plaza while you're there. Enjoy!
Allstate Insurance Wins First Place!

Each year, a friendly holiday lighting and decorating contest is held among the merchants in our "downtown," from 17407 Lorain to West 168th on Lorain Avenue. During the singing portion of Winter Wonderland on December 5, St. Joseph Academy Chorale paused for a brief presentation to the winner. This year, a newcomer won: Allstate Insurance, 17016 Lorain Avenue. Agent Mike Wrobel has been helping clients with their insurance and investments since 1982. He's married with three grown children and four grandchildren. "I have lots of fond memories of going to the Riverside Theater and to the former Tony's Restaurant as a child," he said. "I'm happy to be back in Kamm's Corners!." Starship Earth and BackStage Bar respectively, earned close second and third place scores from the judges. Big thanks to all who participated in making the street merry and bright!
