All of us at Alpar wish you a happy holiday season and joyous new year!

Thank you for heping to drive positive change in the industry by specifying and purshasing Alpar's PVC-free, petroleum-free, rapidly renewable wall protection products.   Pioneering the first and only truly biobased wall protection made for an exciting 2011. What's even more exciting? There is no longer any reason to use PVC wall protection!  While biobased is best - there are now a variety of PVC-free options from multiple manufacturers. Specifying PVC-free no longer limits your design options.  We're looking forward to more new developments in 2012:

  • More biobased products to choose from - Making the right choice by eliminating PVC, PBTs and petroleum is getting easier with more design options from Alpar Architectural Products. We've expanded our line to included more handrail, crash rail and corner guard profile choices!
  • Better building codes - The new requirement in the International Green Construction Code (IgCC) will require that "biobased" include products with a biobased content not less than 75% as determined by testing in accordance with ASTM D6866. Alpar's polymer wall protection products are currently the only wall protection products that exceed this stringent requirement.

We hope that your New Year's resolutions for 2012 include specifying PVC-free and petroleum free products.

Thank you and Happy New Year!

Sincerely,

President
