Dear Friends of VIM,

Wow! 2017 is a week away and 2016 will soon be a memory.

As I reflect on the last 12 months, one of the most important things that I am thankful for is the gracious and dedicated staff, volunteers and supporters of VIM. It is truly amazing to have people that truly understand that there is deserving low income families in our community. Each one of you are making the difference in the lives of thousands.  Yes, we could review data on chronic disease management, dental caries, BMI's and many other statistics based on the standards of care but w e know that we are changing lives, one patient at a time from receiving letters of appreciation, witnessing tears of joy, and seeing  smiles of gratitude.

As we close our 2016 calendars, please know that your your support and efforts at VIM are commendable and appreciated by so many.

Thank you and I am looking forward to having you as part of an exciting 2017 at VIM!

Warmest Regards,

Kelly L. Ranieli

All I want for Christmas are my Two Front Teeth!

This past week, a 30 year old male presented to the dental clinic with severe tooth decay .   Dr. Rich Grossman, extracted two of his front teeth and a partial plate was made in order to give him back a full smile just in time for the holidays. The patient was incredibly  grateful, he walked out of the clinic singing "All I want for Christmas are my two front teeth!"

VIM's Annual Holiday Luncheon!
This year's Annual Holiday Luncheon was held on Friday, December 16th at the VIM Clinic. There was an abundance of food, fun and holiday cheer! The festive holiday decor added to the fun and cheerful ambiance, while volunteers enjoyed indulging in plenty of delicious home made dishes. After enjoying the feast, Julie Lane, VIM's Social Care Coordinator, serenaded the volunteers with beautiful Christmas carols played on the cello. Volunteers gleefully sung along in the spirit of the holiday season. Each volunteer received a gift from VIM and those participating in Secret Santa enjoyed the fun gift exchange.
