Retreat Leader Profile:

Fr. Richard DeLillio, O.S.F.S.

(Women's Silent Lenten Retreat,
March 6-8, 2015

Fr. Richard DeLillio is a Salesian priest, an order of priests, women religious, and consecrated lay people founded by St. Don Bosco (not by St. Francis de Sales!).  St. Don Bosco named the order in honor of St. Francis de Sales because of his humility, kindness, and charity toward the poor.

Fr. DeLillio writes an inspiring blog entitled "Live Today Well."

Fr. DeLillio is a professor of Homiletics at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

His motto is: "Great opportunities to please God are infrequent, but turning little actions into great acts of praise to God happen all the time."
