            New at The Spicy Olive
Mortar & Pestle Spice Blends
Chef Ryan Knuth has introduced a line of fresh spice blends that compliment our olive oils and balsamic vinegars perfectly!
Burger Spice Blend is the perfect addition to hamburgers or season steaks with our Tuscan Herb olive oil.
Citrus Herb Blend is a wonderful addition to vegetables and seafood.
Catherine's Blend is a Tuscan blend that is great on anything, chicken, vegetables or pasta dishes. It makes a great dipping oil added to our single varietal olive oils or Tuscan Herb. Allow to marinate overnight for full flavor!
Rhyno Rub is delicious on chicken, pork and ribs. Coat a pork chop or chicken breast with our Chipotle oil and coat with Rhyno Rub. Allow to marinate for 1/2 hour and then grill for a great barbecue flavor!
Chef Ryan will lead a demonstration class at The Spicy Olive, West Chester, on May 18th to introduce these new spice blends. See details below!

Life is Too Short to Eat Bad olive oil!

A recent 60 Minutes story on fraud in the olive oil industry underscores why it is so important for consumers to be careful where and what type of olive oil they are purchasing. Tom Mueller, the author of Extra Virginity, states that 75-80% of the olive oil on grocery shelves is fraudulent. It is either too old or rancid, is not even olive oil just seed oil or canola oil with chlorophyl added for color or it is not extra virgin as it is labeled. The Spicy Olive is here so you don't have to eat bad olive oil anymore. Our oils are better than extra virgin , they are Ultra Premium (see link to right for more information on UP oils)! Our olive oils are always fresh and full of polyphenols so you get a big health benefit from consuming our oils.
