September is National Food Safety Month and we couldn't be more excited for a month dedicated to food safety.
Here are 5 tips to help keep your food safe:
1. Establish
time-temperature control. Keep cold foods cold and hot foods hot!
2. Prevent
cross-contamination. No transfer of pathogens from one food to another!
3.
Good personal hygiene. Wash hands thoroughly and frequently!
4.
Clean and sanitize items, surfaces, and equipment after use. Every four hours too if items are constantly used!
5.
Purchase your food from reputable suppliers. Food safety begins with who you purchase from!
