2017. What will it look like for you? The possibilities are endless. This time of year can be sluggish for some because of the shorter days (less sunlight) and longer nights (more darkness) as well as colder and drearier weather.

But it's harder than it sounds; many of us struggle to identify what exactly we are feeling, and often times the most obvious label isn't actually the most accurate.

There are a variety of reasons why this is so difficult: We've been trained to believe that strong emotions should be suppressed. We have certain (sometimes unspoken) societal and organizational rules against expressing them. Or we've never learned a language to accurately describe our emotions.

White Chili - Super Easy Crock Pot Yummy

32 oz. chicken broth
4 c. shredded cooked chicken
3 cans northern white beans
1 16 oz. jar medium salsa
1 can green chillies
1 8 oz. pkg. shredded monteray jack (pepperjack if you care for more spice) cheese
1 tbsp. parsley
crushed red pepper to taste
salt & pepper

In large crock pot, combine all ingredients and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4. Garnish with parsley.
