Digitizing 101
Tuesdays
10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
This course will show you the basics of VHS to DVD transfer. Participants will leave with written instructions for transferring their own materials at their convenience. To register for this course, call 708-798-0121 x292

Healthcare Marketplace Enrollment

Card-Making 101

This is a two hour instructional class. It is by pre-registration only, up to the day before the event. Cost is $7 payable in advance for 3 beautifully hand made folded/stamped card creations. Please register and pay at the Library Services Desk.

Homewood Writers Group

Writers are invited to discuss writing and publishing. Bring along your own work to share with the group. All levels of experience are encouraged to attend.

Lyric Opera Preview

Homewood Historical Society

Union Street Gallery, Chicago Heights: Director and Gallery Director, Dr. Larry McClellan  and Jessica Segal, will discuss the history of the organization, the building in which it is situated, and its current and past activities. No registration required.

Monthly Travel Movie

*Arduino After School

"Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. It's intended for anyone making interactive projects."- arduino.cc. Teens will learn the basics of electronics, circuitry, and coding. Each week we'll complete a new project and document our progress on our HPL-Teens Tumblr.

Parent/Teen Book Discussion
January 13
7 - 8 p.m.
Parent and teen (grade 7 thru 12) join together to discuss the same book. Registration is preferred but not required. Check with Youth Services for current book being read. Books may be picked up at the circulation desk.

Anime Club

6 - 7 p.m.
For anyone interested in anime and/or manga. For grades 7-12. Snacks served. Registration is preferred, not required.
