Happy New Year, Fellow Travelers!

Our theme for 2018 is Start With Why. Whether working with Management, Shareholder, or Family Teams, our Leadership Labs, or our internal DVFBC Team, one of our long-standing principles is to create written Annual Growth Plans that are viewed regularly to track progress and to maintain accountability. 

A few years ago we were inspired by Simon Sinek's Start With Why concept, which has been valuable as a foundation to our goal setting process. All Members will be receiving this inspiring book as part of your Membership Package, which we will integrate into our 2018 Events.

Sexual Harassment Seminars for Family Businesses

While most family businesses have a sexual harassment policy in place, few know how to appropriately handle a claim once it arises. Join PROXUS for a free but important seminar held at the PROXUS offices to learn what employers need to do now to prevent and address sexual harassment claims. 

Choose from two dates: Thursday, January 25th or Tuesday, January 30th.

Topics will include:
  • Requirements under state and federal law
  • Identifying sexual harassment in the family business
  • Harassment and discrimination training best practices
