Greetings!
Happy New Year!!! I know it has been a while since I contacted you. I have taken the last little while off to focus on family and the holidays (my most favorite time of the year!). These past few months have been very exciting for me, bringing about a lot of change and new opportunities. As many of you know, in addition to having a Stampin' Up! business I also have 2 beautiful children (my daughter Kieran will be 12 next month and my son Alexander "Xander" just turned 3) and I work full-time as a Process Specialist/Project Manager. One of the big changes that took place in December is that I changed companies and started a new job. I am happy to report that I am now working closer to my home at RIM (Research in Motion) the makers of BlackBerry. It is an exciting, youthful and creative environment. Not surprising that I should want to work there :) In regards to my Stampin' Up! business I had an opportunity to travel to Nashville, Tennessee with 999 other Stampin' Up! demonstrators for our annual Leadership Conference this past week. In fact I just returned yesterday afternoon and I couldn't wait to write to you and share all the fantastic things that I learned.
I will be sharing my learning through out the year, so be sure to come to a few of my events in the months to come. Each year Stampin' Up! creates a theme for the Conference. For the first time ever Stampin' Up! has launched a Global year long campaign for their Demonstrators called +ONE. +ONE represents the change each Stampin' Up! demonstrator can make this year. If each of us was to make one small change, one small addition to our business in 2011 than the collective change will be massive! I really love this theme and I know it can be adopted beyond my Stampin' Up! business and in to the rest of my life. The concept of +ONE is quite simple and easily achieved.
In the spirit of +ONE, Stampin' Up! made a number of fantastic changes for this year and they gave us, the Leadership attendees a fantastic opportunity. One that I would love to share with each of you. Stampin' Up! has so very generously given us ONE FREE Starter Kit to GIVE to one person of my choice who will commit to building their own Stampin' Up business. This opportunity will help me build my business by making it easier for you to build yours!
Let me tell you, sitting in the General Assembly with 999 of my fellow Demonstrators you could actually hear a pin drop, for a short moment that is, until the announcement set in, then the room erupted like a volcano!! I am sure you can imagine what that might have been like!! I think there were even a few tears in the room. This is quite an amazing opportunity.
So in the spirit of +ONE I am reaching out to all of you. I have a fantastic job opportunity for you. I am currently looking for a new Stampin' Up! Demonstrator to join my growing team. In addition to providing you with all the materials you require to get you started, I will also provide you with one-on-one training to help you build your business to achieve your goals.
To take advantage of this AMAZING opportunity, please follow the application process detailed below.
Happy New Year to all of you, and I look forward to growing my team this week by +ONE.
Cheers,
Blair stampwithb@gmail.com
