Statement necklace: Check. Champagne: Check. My favorite 80's movies: Check. And oh yeah, and readers, because I have to be able to see the remote!

Sixteen Candles
This is how you do New Years Eve like a boss... At home with the ones you love with the best medicine, laughter. Our NYE we watched Class(1983), Sixteen Candles (1984), Weird Science (1985) topped off with Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1984). For the record, I wanted to recreate the iconic birthday picture from Sixteen Candles, where they are sitting on the dining room table, but Mr. Celtic Complexion said we would need to reinforce the dining room legs to do that!

One of my goals for 2017 is to incorporate a half hour a day dedicated to laughter. The great thing about Youtube, is that you can search for your favorite clips without commercials and you could conceivably laugh, non-stop for hours (as I did). My advice is to bookmark videos that REALLY make you laugh and visit them often. My favorites? The Graham Norton Show, True Confessions bit on Jimmy Fallon Show and any Emma Stone interview.

Another goal I have to visit friends more often.. a "Friendcation". I did this when I was in L.A. earlier this month, and there is nothing greater than sitting on the couch with a cherished friend, just laughing and going down memory lane all in the comfort of yoga pants! Some of the people I visited I hadn't seen since the early 80's! Social media is great, but it pales in comparison to a real, live experience with friends. I have a no media rule too.. take one picture, then put all cameras away and be present in the moment.

One of the friends I plan to visit is Danielle Vincent in Northern California. She and her husband also own a soap and skincare business so we have a lot in common. She's also a hell of a teacher (probably because she is so darn adorable!). One of her goals is to touch and impact 150k people in 2017. She is offering a free online course to do just that (and she offers great paid courses too). It's a short course of goal setting which I already took myself. I also like the idea behind this blog post, 100 30 day challenges.

Finally, this list I printed out and put on my desk. It's Bob Parson's 16 Rules of Success.

Beyond professional goals and lists, my personal goal is to live each day as if it were my last, doing things that make me happy, surrounded by people that inspire me and make me laugh, and to make sure everyone in my life knows how much I love them.

What about you? What are your goals for 2017? I hope you are making some big ones! I read somewhere that goals should scare you a bit (put you out of your comfort zone).

I'll tell you a little story about big goals (and the importance of writing them down). In 2004, I was working in Aspen for Christmas week at a famous cosmetic boutique called CosBar as a freelance makeup artist for a skincare company I worked for at the time. I was trying my best to fit in and not to look out of place among the celebrities that walked in and out.

I remember picking up each tester jar, reading each label of the high end skincare brands they stocked in the store and thinking "One day my products will be in this store" (this was long before Celtic Complexion was on my radar).

Fast forward, the same exact week 2016, twelve years later...My products were
just featured in a magazine article along side some of those same products:

"Luxurious skincare and makeup products from around the world provide gorgeous globetrotting, no matter the season - but without the jet lag. These under-the-radar products are your visa to a vivacious visage. They're the best way to pamper yourself and go first class - without the flight.

Advice to Women Over 40...

Note: If you are a Millennial, you probably should listen to this advice, but you won't, because nothing on your body has started to go south yet. That's OK, I'll be here when you're ready...and Baby Boomers, you may have the belief that "It's too late, why bother?" even though that's not true, I'm not going to twist your arm (but I will welcome you with open arms if you decided this *was* for you).

The Tale of Two Actresses...

On a crisp September evening in 1994, two young actresses made their debut on a TV show that became forever identified with Generation X. The show ran for ten seasons and 52.5 million people watched the series finale, making it one of the most watched in television history.

The show of course was Friends, and the two actresses Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox, were turned into household names.

Both went on to act again after Friends, both received awards, and both have had appeared on countless magazine covers.

But there is a difference: One has aged like wine and one has aged like milk.

What Made the Difference...

One has opted to age naturally with minimal intervention and one has fallen victim of "too much work".

"I think what I have been witness to, is seeing women trying to stay ageless with what they are doing to themselves. I am grateful to learn from their mistakes, because I am not injecting s**t into my face. No honestly, I see them and my heart breaks. I think, 'Oh god if you only know how much older you look.' They are trying to stop the clock and all you can see is an insecure person who won't let themselves just age... You know, to each their own; I don't judge it if you do it, but sometimes I wish I could beg the people I know, who I am very near and dear to, to not touch their face." Jennifer Aniston, Yahoo Beauty

"Getting older, I don't think that's the easiest thing. But I have learned lessons. I think I was trying to keep up with getting older and trying to chase that. It's something you can't keep up with. Sometimes you find yourself trying, and then you look at a picture of yourself and you go, "Oh god, I look horrible." I have done things that I regret, and luckily there are things that dissolve and go away. So that's good because it's not always been my best look." Courtney Cox in an episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls

There are many examples of Jennifer and Courtney happening at thirty year high school reunions all across America. Which one do you want to be?

I created Anti-Aging University to teach you how to age naturally... so you look (and feel) great at any age. It's not about trying to look 25 again, it's about being the best version of yourself, about being happy with what you see in the mirror. This online, go-at-your-own-pace course puts you in control of how you age, and gives you the knowledge of how to look your best without going under the knife.

An Education Unlike Any Other...

Anti-Aging University is a unique course designed to teach you proven anti-aging secrets from Mother Nature , passed down from the ages, which have been largely ignored by mainstream media because they cost very little compared to medical procedures.

In fact, very few experts in the beauty industry know about these protocols because they have been dismissed as "alternative quackery". I have to admit, there was a time I believed that too, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Once I let nature lead the way, I began to completely transform (as you've been witness to if you follow my newsletters regularly).

Just one lesson can change the way you age, but this course delivers fifty-two powerful anti-aging strategies which effectively enable you to age like fine wine. You won't be overwhelmed with a stream of mediocre memes to be read and soon forgotten. You will receive one lesson per week to master and apply immediately.

If you watch, learn and apply these lessons consistently, at the end of one year, your friends will be begging for your secrets. You will have them wondering how you did it, and you never have to fear the mirror again. In short, you will succeed by keeping Mother Nature on speed dial and cancelling that plastic surgery consult.

To begin your transformation...

The full 52 week program will be $795, when it goes live on January 23rd. This is about average rate for a round of Botox. But rather than a temporary fix, these lessons will stay with you for life and cost very little as compared to medical interventions. But you can still get the program for $99 if you sign up before then .
I decided to allow our Celtic Complexion fans the opportunity to join this program up until the new website is launched because I know how easy it is to miss deadlines in January.

This is such a small amount to pay for what you get. You get immediate access to the secret Facebook group and once the new membership site is up, you will be upgraded to the 52 week program for free.

The Glamper's Guide to Aging Program, which is the program I created last fall was just the tip of the iceberg.

So, why now? Well, as my mom would say, "You aren't getting any younger!"
Imagine looking in the mirror a year from now, with one more year of wear and tear on your body. You will wish you had started NOW.

I know I did. I wasted decades of my life being wishy-washy about my health but when I transformed myself from a duckling into a swan, I soon realized the importance of time.

Ben Franklin said it best: "Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of."

If you are healthy today but not happy with how you are aging, this is the time to start the program. Today it's about vanity, but tomorrow it could be about something more serious.

You know that old saying "If I knew then what I know know, I would do things differently"? Sure, we have all heard that, but human nature being what it is, we rarely make major changes in our lives unless we are forced to do so.

I'm not saying you will never get sick, or that you will never God-forbid get a disease, I'm saying that it's much easier to make lifestyle changes (and learn how to keep your body healthy) when you aren't dealing with medical diagnosis too. Anything in life can be greatly improved with time and persistence.

Why will this program work for you?

Because you don't have the time to do the research yourself.

Because you don't have an unlimited budget to try unproven procedures, products or strategies.

Because some of your peers are morphing into something you don't recognize, and you are afraid the same thing will happen to you at the hands of an aggressive doctor.

Because there's not a lot left over in your budget after you pay your insurance premiums, kids college funds and property taxes.

Because you still want to turn heads.

If you've got sixty hours hours to spare in 2017, I guarantee you'll look younger one year from now than you do today. I know this because before I wrote the program, I lived it myself.

Sign up now and let's get this midlife reinvention tour started!

Participants of the program will also receive special discount incentives to attend  my Glamping Health Retreats in 2017. Details of those retreats will be included in the next newsletter.

I have already started a wait list for people who are interested in these retreats. I am offering group retreats for up to six people for 2 nights/3 days, as well as private retreats for those of you who want a one-on-one experience.

If you want to be added to the wait list (for more information), simply reply back to this email.

Mr. Celtic Complexion and I both wish you a very happy and healthy New Year!

P.S. Did you know that I post regularly on our Facebook page? You can watch videos from my glamping trip (and watch my physical transformation on camera), and get product recommendations and tips.

If you use Celtic Complexion Creme, be sure to watch the video I made in November which talked about why it feels slightly different to the touch. The information is on the video entitled Birthday BOGO day 19 & 20. You can access the page here.

Jennifer Waller
Jennifer Waller
Bio:

Jennifer Waller began her career as a makeup-dazzled teenager, thrilled to serve part-time behind the cosmetics counter at Burdine's department store in her home town of Miami. It took years for that happy magical pixie dust to turn to cynicism.

As she rose through the ranks - eventually becoming Beauty Director at Nordstrom - Waller happily guzzled every drop of Kool-Aid wisdom that the beauty industry put out. That more makeup is more beautiful. That movie stars really use the stuff they endorse. That the bigger the company and the slicker the packaging, the better the ingredients must be.

Meanwhile, her own complexion was driving her crazy. After every potion and powder in her arsenal failed to mask - much less cure - her rosacea, Waller in desperation went to a holistic esthetician... who told her to chuck all her cosmetics and go on a far more natural skin care diet. Within a month she stopped looking like an Angry Bird.

If this were a movie, now would come the scene where the violins soar tremulously and a glowing light appears in the sky. Waller switched gears. She quit her job, got an esthetician's license and was soon developing her own natural product line on her kitchen stove. Celtic Complexion has since grown into a six-figure-a-year boutique business, based in the Research Triangle area of Raleigh, NC (although most serums and creams are still concocted in the kitchen.)

Every single thing she sells works on her own face. Sensitive skin gets TLC from raw materials that are certified organic, cruelty free, non-GMO and never sourced from China. Makeup is designed to be simple enough to apply at a stop light. And no, there are absolutely no celebrity endorsers on the payroll. Life comes full cycle, or maybe 180 degrees.
