There are many great ways to celebrate--parades, food and fun. May we suggest adding one of these three ways honor to honor the REAL Patrick?
1) Tell someone about Jesus! Patrick was an evangelist who longed for the world to know the Lord.
2) Give generously to a ministry that fights human trafficking. Patrick was kidnapped and taken to Ireland as a slave.
3) Forgive someone who has hurt you deeply--especially an enemy--in Jesus' name. Patrick wasn't Irish. In fact he had every reason to hate the Irish. After he escaped from slavery he forgave the very people who kidnapped him and went to share God's love with them.
