November 2017
Greetings World Cup Parents,

It's beginning to smell a lot like Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is one of those great holidays that not only gives us an excuse to use our ovens here at World Cup, but offers great learning opportunities for our students.

Our teachers are engaging the children in Thanksgiving crafts and stories that help reinforce lessons in sharing and being thankful. The children will use their math and science skills to help measure and mix for the delicious breads they will prepare for their Thanksgiving feasts. They will also practice their bilateral coordination while they color, glue and paint their holiday hats. The culmination of all these activities will be a celebration where they will join other classrooms to share a meal and have an opportunity to practice their social skills with old and new friends.

There are so many ways that children can get involved in preparing for this wonderful holiday. Have them decorate your table, count out napkins, greet guests or even scrub potatoes. It is a great opportunity for you to create traditions and help your children feel that they are an important part of the celebration. Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving!

Warm regards,

Roxanne Kaplan
We hope that you all enjoyed our Spooktacular Open House, including our team demonstrations, food, face painting, and gym time! Our Halloween Open House is always an annual favorite of ours and we are extremely happy with this year's turnout!

Cold and Flu season is approaching, please be mindful of our 24-hour fever free symptom free policy.

Additionally, as the cold weather approaches it is important to familiarize yourself with World Cup's policies and procedures regarding closures and delays. For more details regarding our procedures Click Here

Lastly, we'd like to remind parents who pick-up in the front of the building to refrain from pulling up too close to the curb. This can slow down the dismissal process for everyone, let's keep that line moving as fast as possible!
white-black-pattern.gif Registration forms for the 2018-2019 school year went out. This is a special time of the year because it gives me the opportunity to tour our programs with the families. I am honored to be able to work with the greatest staff which is evident to all who see them in action. I encourage current families as well to see what next year's program has in store for your children so feel free to call or come by to set up a tour. Click Here to access the forms on line.
