CCYA Gives Thanks!
With Thanksgiving being next week, we are reflecting on what we are thankful for here at The Center for Children & Young Adults. We have been blessed with supportive donors, volunteers & employees!  A special thank you for the 134 supporters who took the time to donate on  GA Gives Day raising
$15, 716.00!!! It truly takes a village, and without your willingness to spread the word, we could have never reached our goal. We are also in awe at the response we have already received from local businesses, churches, and families wanting to collect holiday donations or engage in volunteer projects for us. We could not survive without the donations and volunteer hours we receive all year.  Although December is our largest giving month of the year, we count on many of these donations to take us well into the New Year to offset costs for toiletries, food, cleaning supplies, household goods, and gift cards. Let's not forget the CCYA Staff who work tirelessly with our kids to give them the love and encouragement they deserve. All of our staff is equally important and plays a significant role here at The Center. The impact they make on our children is invaluable.
Holiday Shopping
While Giving Back to CCYA

Possibly the finest neck wrap ever created and a great gift idea for the holidays! When you purchase from the Signature Series or Luxury Line, CCYA gets either a $7 or $10 donation! It can be used as a heated or cooled wrap by simply placing the microwave for moist heat benefits or the freezer for soothing cool down experiences.

All you have to do is put CCYA in the coupon code box. This will insure we receive the donation.

These are perfect gift ideas for friends and family, we promise they will not be disappointed! Please click the link for aromawrap.com to order yours today! Do not forget to put CCYA in the coupon code box.
Ways to Help us Make a Merry
Christmas for CCYA Youth
The holidays are fast approaching and here at The Center for Children & Young Adults we begin to think about ways to make our kids feel special through this difficult time. For many youth living at CCYA, the holidays are a reminder that they are without family or a home to call their own. Their lives have come with more challenges than you can imagine, and we need your help to create a warm and special time for them. Our kids are ages 13-21 and listed below are some ways you and your friends, family, or co-workers can get involved.
Santa's Workshop
We are looking for volunteer groups to work a shift in our Santa's Workshop. This is where the magic begins. Santa's Workshop is where we sort and wrap all the presents for our youth living at The Center. Shifts are 10 am-12 noon and 2-4 pm beginning December 15th through December 18 th. To reserve your time slot,  please contact Andrea Watkins at 770-485-1639 or [email protected].

Be An Angel
The youth at CCYA have wishes for Christmas just like the children in your family. If you would like to sponsor one of our kids and shop from their personalized list, please contact Andrea Watkins at 770-485-1639 or [email protected].

St. Nick's Pick
Help us collect gift cards through parties, group collections (schools, company's, churches etc.), and neighborhood gatherings. We need gift cards to offset expenses on outings, food, and clothing. Our gift card wish list: Target, Walmart, Regal Cinemas, Brunswick Bowling, Sparkles Roller Rink, Dave & Busters, Famous Footwear, McDonalds, Chick-fil-A, and Golden Corral.

Cookie Coutures
Bring in baked goods between Dec 14 th-31 st to share in one of your favorite dorms or bring to the main dining hall to share with the entire campus! Our kids love cookies, brownies, cakes, and cupcakes - they love it all!
A  BEST PLACE FOR YOUTH TO LIVE, HEAL & THRIVE.
