Help A Child For The Holidays

If you still have the post-election blues, join us in committing ourselves to doing good for those in need in our community! Stop by our office at 4209 Parry Ave. to pick up a Salvation Army Angel.

The angels have all a child's information. You buy a present and bring it back to the DCDP office. All the presents go to the Salvation Army to be distributed to the families.

The children we are donating to are requesting presents like winter coats, shoes, and pants. Regardless of the outcome of the election, we are going to continue to fight for those who are most vulnerable in our community.

Judge Tobolowsky Wins Award

Congratulations to our own Judge Emily Tobolowsky on being named the ABOTA Dallas Chapter 2016 Trial Judge of the Year. Judge Tobolowsky was part of the Democratic "Class of 2006" that first swept Dallas County for the Democratic Party. She presides over the 298th Civil District Court. She joins a number of fine Democratic jurists who have received this award over the years, including Judge Craig Smith, Judge King Fifer, Judge Ken Molberg, Judge Eric V. Moyé, Judge Tonya Parker, Judge Mark Greenberg and others. ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates) is a great organization with goals that include protection of the American system of trial by jury. Learn more: www.abota.org
