Happy Trails, Andy!

Please join us for a community picnic to celebrate Andy's legacy with PPLT! We'll gather at the Spring Meadow Lake pavilion next Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and PPLT will provide burgers and hot dogs (while they last), beer, lemonade and live music.  Rumor has it that "Andy and the Trailbreakers" will be playing. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share!

Hope to see you there!

Welcome, Nate!

We'd like to welcome Nate Kopp to the PPLT staff for this summer!

Originally from the Buffalo area in New York, Nate joins PPLT as a trails and volunteer coordinator.

He first discovered his love of conservation work and outdoor spaces after spending a summer working in Yosemite National Park following his graduation from SUNY Geneseo, where he received his bachelor's degree in Geography and Environmental Studies. From there he spent most of a year working for the American Conservation Experience in California building trails and participating in a wide variety of conservation projects and eventually, after a brief stint in Portland, Oregon, continued his conservation and trail pursuits in Vermont where he worked these past two years as a Crew Leader for the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps.

He is now excited to put his energy into the trail systems managed by PPLT and get to know the passionate community that hikes on and supports our local trails.
