Bridgton Winter Carnival Snow Shoe Race Information
Bridgton Winter Carnival Snowshoe Race.
We think it's very important for kids to participate, so we're not going to charge an entry fee to anyone under 18. We're hoping this catches on as a trend for road races, too! It can be tough for a family to race together if everybody on the starting line has paid $35.00 for a race number.
We'd love to see runners, skiers, hikers, and snow-shoers of all levels show up for this event. It's a fun outdoor community builder, and any proceeds go to a great cause.
Team Long Run is a (Bridgton) Maine-based nonprofit that connects kids with little or no access to sports with expert volunteer mentor-coaches, giving them a chance to benefit from athletics on a more flexible schedule.

Maine’s Hottest Towns of 2017: Real Estate Matters
State and national news were filled with stories about real estate this past year: Prices were up and demand was high in most areas especially in Southern Maine.

This year’s annual list of the Hottest Towns in Maine in terms of the real estate market provides a look back at what happened and where. To find the winners, we gather data from the MLS run by Maine Real Estate Information Services Inc. to calculate which Maine municipalities had the largest increases in the number of home and condo sales in 2017 and we then compare these to 2016 numbers.

Hancock Lumber Welcomes Mainely Trusses to the Team

Hancock Lumber Welcomes Mainely Trusses to the Team! Hancock blazes new trail, acquires roof and floor truss manufacturing facility.

Hancock Lumber is proud to announce their acquisition of Mainely Trusses, a market-leading roof and floor truss manufacturing facility based in Fairfield, Maine. Two successful Maine businesses are joining forces with this acquisition, adding a unique product line to Hancock’s manufacturing portfolio.
Mainely Trusses is a great fit for Hancock Lumber and likewise, Hancock Lumber is a great fit for Mainely Trusses. The addition of Mainely Trusses makes Hancock Lumber the first retailer in Maine to own and operate their own roof and floor truss manufacturing facility.

Manufacturing is not new to Hancock Lumber; in fact, the company’s roots began in 1848 with milling logs into lumber and continues today with their three Eastern White Pine sawmills and wall panel manufacturing facility. Adding engineered truss systems to their manufacturing portfolio offers another key product line for their customers in Maine and New Hampshire.

President's Day - February 19th
Washington's Birthday is a United States federal holiday celebrated on the third Monday of February in honor of George Washington, the first President of the United States, who was born on February 22, 1732. [1] It can occur on the 15th through the 21st of February inclusive. [2]
Colloquially, the day is also now widely known as Presidents' Day and is often an occasion to honor the incumbent president and all persons who have served as president, not just George Washington. [3] [4]
The day is a state holiday in most states, with official names including Washington's Birthday, Presidents' Day, President's Day, and Washington's and Lincoln's Birthday. [3] Depending upon the specific law, the state holiday might officially celebrate Washington alone, Washington and Abraham Lincoln (whose birthday is February 12), or some other combination of U.S. presidents (such as Washington and the third president Thomas Jefferson, who was born in April). [3]
If you you have enjoyed our choice of Celtic Music over the past few years then we have a very special performance this year - Friday 6th July, check out Riverdance, Carnegie Hall and Kennedy Center Performers, ‘Open the Door for Three’.
Go to deertrees-theatre.org for the season and brownpapertickets.com for all tickets.
