Dennis Company sold, employees and product lines won't change
The venerable Dennis Company, a four-generation business with five stores in Grays Harbor and Pacific counties, is being sold to Kansas-based Westlake Ace Hardware, officials from both companies said.

His first "official" day as the Aberdeen Revitalization Movement Main Street executive director is Feb. 1, but since his hiring was announced, Wil Russoul has put in long days as he steers the city toward Main Street designation.

To cultivate employment opportunities in timber and farm country, State Rep. Mike Chapman, D-Port Angeles, has introduced legislation that would provide one year of free tuition at local community colleges in rural counties.
