Currently the City of Plano has Christ UMC on stand-by as an emergency evacuee shelter. There is likelihood that they will be asked to open their church to 100 Harvey evacuees. We are currently developing a preparedness plan with our sister churches and local non-profit organizations to help Christ UMC host these evacuees. Be looking for additional communication tomorrow on what you can do to help. In the meantime, you may give monetary donations to the North Texas Disaster Relief fund at the North Texas Conference of the UMC HERE or you may give on our website and choose "NTC Disaster Relief" in the drop down menu.

Hospitality through Meals  Heavenly Hosts help our families by providing food  whether it is for a funeral or just a family that is going through challenging times. We need volunteers to be cooks and delivery drivers or make a monetary donation. We supply the pans and recipes. Stop by our table on Sunday mornings in the Grand Hall.
