NS Receives $15,000 RI Foundation Centennial Community Grant

This award was given by the Rhode Island Foundation as they celebrate their 100th anniversary with the Centennial Community Grant Program.  Of the 200 grant submissions received, 43 were selected, and "Slatersville" made the cut.  Town Administrator Paulette Hamilton and De Rezendes were present at the official announcement at Camp Meehan in North Providence.

Step off will take place at 10:30am from the Brigidos and proceed down North Main St. There will be a brief solemn ceremony on the steps of Town Hall and continue to the VFW Post for a collation.

6th Annual NS Town Wide Yard Sale
Saturday, June 4th 
Sunday, June 5th (rain date)

Residents are encouraged to participate and sell household items during this event.

We ask that you donate to the NS Food Pantry by bringing a monetary donation or food item to the Town Annex Building.

Participants must obtain a yard sale permit for $5 at the Town Clerk's Office located in the Annex at 575 Smithfield Rd.
