Adopt a Tree Well

The Recreation & Parks Department is excited about the new Downtown beautification program "Adopt a Tree Well ".  his program, brought to the community by the Downtown Economic Development Fund Council, allows individuals, organizations or businesses to "adopt" a tree well for a contribution of $199.00.
To adopt a tree well, simply complete the  tree well form  and submit along with the $199.00 sponsorship fee to the Recreation Office at the Community Center, 95 Broadway.  Please make checks payable to: Village of Ossining.

Down to Earth Farmer's Market  is  Saturday  from 830am - 1pm at Market Square. Plums and apples start to take over for peaches and berries in the farmers' market, the weather cools to a degree where turning on the oven seems reasonable and the feeling of building momentum for a new school year and new projects (even for those of us long out of school) kicks in. Chamber member Open Door Family Medical will be offering free blood pressure screening. Greentree Textiles will be on hand to collect old clothes, bedding, shoes and bags.  Don't forget your recycled bags!  Visit their website

Phelps Hospital invite you to participate in the 2nd Annual Autumn Games for Seasoned Adults  Saturday, September 9th from 8am-430pm at Mount Pleasant Community Center in Valhalla.  This is a day of activities and athletic challenges for adults 55 and over.  Need more information click here

The Ossining Arts Council  is proud to host the first ever Ossining Open Studio Tours on October 14 . The purpose of the Tour is to showcase the amazing amount of talent we have in Ossining.
