| A Message from the Principal |
Greetings Hampton Cove Families,
We are very excited about the upcoming week. On Monday, August 21 we will host the viewing of the solar eclipse. We ask that parents sign in in the lobby and go directly to the track. There will designated areas for each classroom. Please feel free to bring a beach towel or a chair. We will begin dismissing students by grade level at 12:50, beginning with the fifth grade. Please reiterate the importance of students not looking at the sun without their protective glasses. We will dismiss back to the classroom around 1:40. If you would like to check your child out after the viewing, you may do so with your child's teacher. We ask for your patience with parking and dismissal. Hampton Cove Elementary school will begin school dismissal around 2:45. Please do not get out of your car to assist a child. We will help your children safely to the car. We will only have a short window of time before the middle school car line begins.

Library News
|
Please consider helping in the library. We depend on volunteers to help keep the library running since our aide is only here half a week. Thank you for your support.

Box Tops for Education
|
Deadline: September 29, 2017
It's that time! We are collecting box tops. Also, more to come in your childs Wednesday folder. If you would please label the teacher's name, student's name, and number of box tops in the package. The class with the most box tops per collection term will have an ice cream appreciation party.
A collection box will be in front of the office.

| Clubs |
Club Hub will be part of our Back to School Bash on Tuesday August 22, 2017. Beginning at 5:00 p.m. you can meet the club instructors and gather information on our after school clubs for he Fall semester. The following morning at 8:00 a.m. the sign ups will be active and you may register your child at that time. The flyers can be found on our website at hcespta.wix.com/hcespta on the after school clubs tab. Links for registration will be on the same page beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 23rd. Registration will close on Friday, and all clubs are filled in order of registration on Sign Up Genius. Some clubs will fill quickly, so we encourage everyone to attend Club Hub and get all the information you need to choose your after school activities! We hope to see everyone there.
