Girls' Basketball Fundraiser
Triple Header Basketball Game - January 20th
The Girls' Basketball Team is taking pre-orders for whole pork butts for $30 and will be available for pick-up at 5:30pm in the pavilion on January 20th. They will also be selling BBQ sandwiches at concession that evening. Click here for BBQ order form.

News from the Learning Commons
Next week is Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! Santa Fe Catholic High School will be participating with a week full of activities!
One activity is a literacy quote contest. Students are asked to enter a reading/literacy quote to Mrs. Lopez. The winner's quote will be placed above the door going to the Quiet Room/Library and they will receive a $20 gift card.
Also, the book club will be hosting a book drive. Please donate new or slightly used books. Thank you for your support!

Cold Weather Attire
Students may wear the following outerwear during the school day:
- Uniform sweatshirt and jacket available through Risse Brothers
- Hoodies sold by SFC Boosters
- Current team, club jackets, and sweatshirts that have been pre-approved by the administration
- Santa Fe letter jackets
Students are not permitted to wear unapproved outerwear during colder weather in classrooms or during exchanges. No sweat pants or warm-up pants are to be worn. Sweatshirts and jackets may not be worn around the waist.
Undershirts: Undershirts worn under school shirts must be plain white, grey, or black. No logos (even SFC) are allowed on the undershirts.
Blankets are not allowed in classes.
There are no changes to this dress code unless an announcement is made during school hours and/or through social media.

Only 52 days until Renaissance XXXIV - Glitterati. Ways you can help:

- Auction items - Do you have a vacation condo you can donate for a week? Can you donate a service by gift certificate? Do you have jewelry you do not wear? Do you have any connections that you'd like us to contact? The possibilities are endless.
- Attend the event - Guaranteed to have a great time!
- Wall of Wine - Donate a bottle of wine for our wall. Last year our wall raised over $1,000. Please have an adult bring this to the front office.
- Bid on our online auction - Need not be present to bid on auction items. You can get a deal on theme parks, restaurants, etc.
- Can you lend us any of the following for decorations?
* (2) Large vases or urns to flank the entryway.
* Bistro-style tables and chairs: silver, black, or bronze.
Items will be returned after Renaissance.
Class Baskets -
It has become a tradition that each class sponsors a basket for the silent auction at Renaissance. We hope that each family can contribute an item that goes along with the themed basket, or a monetary donation is always welcomed. This year the basket themes are:
Seniors: "For the Sophisticated Sportsman," hunting, fishing, coolers, tools, cocktail supplies, etc.
Juniors: "For the Glamorous Gal," spa and beauty products, gardening supplies, wine accessories, ladies lunch gift certificates, accessories, etc.
Sophomores: "Resort Rendez
vous," beach towels, hats, suncare products, visors, sunglasses, totes, frozen drinks, beach items, etc.
Freshmen: "Debutantes and Dudes," games, ear buds, insulated bottles, gift cards: movies, gas, fast food, iTunes, Amazon.
If you'd prefer, we can do the shopping for you. Please send your item or money in by February 24th, or sooner, to the school office so that we can assemble the baskets and put them on our online event website
Spirit Night at Beef O'Brady's this Friday, January 20th
Celebrate "Spirit Night" the 3rd Friday of every month. 10% of sales are donated back to SFC. Write SFC or Santa Fe on the back of your receipt and give it to your waitress. Only applicable at Lake Miriam Beef O' Brady's - 4810 S. Florida Avenue.
2017 SFC Athletic Booster Scholarship
The SFC Booster Association is proud to offer, for the first time, a $1,500 scholarship for an SFC graduating senior athlete who has attended SFC and has been involved in SFC athletics for at least three years, with a cummulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants need to submit a typed essay, 500 words minimum, on:

All students participating in sports MUST have a sports physical dated after June 1, 2016. Print the following highlighted links (
