2015 HEADWATERS TASTE OF TOURISM AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Headwaters' annual tourism awards ceremony,
A Taste of Tourism took place on Wednesday, November 25th at Dufferin County Museum & Archives where winners were announced in the following categories.
HEADWATERS SUPPORTS VIVA CALEDON PAN AM UPCYCLE LEGACY PROJECT
Headwaters Tourism was pleased to be a participant, along with other community partners, in the Town of Caledon's Pan Am Legacy Project, Viva Upcycle. Project participants were tasked with conceiving and creating art using the VIVA Caledon Pan Am banners as the primary material.
Headwaters Tourism created a functional and practical work of art that is the prototype for potential future consumer merchandise promoting the region. The Headwaters Hold-All tote bag seemed like the ideal way to combine fashion, function and art in an effort to promote the area. This lightweight, water & windproof bag, incorporates a large open space, long handles and even utilizes the banner grommets in the design as ideal rings to hang keys and other functional items.
HEADWATERS TOURISM HONOURED WITH COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD
