The Sacred Peacemaker

In light of the tremendous warring conflicts around the globe, more than ever, it befits all earnest practitioners of shamanic living to awaken the 'sacred peacemaker' within, exemplified through acts of loving kindness towards one's adversary in the world without. To walk in peace is related to our human capacity for experiencing beauty even in the midst of disruption, uncertainty and great challenge. I believe it was Voltaire who said "Adversity is the crucible upon which the sprit is forged"-and, from the perspective of shamanic initiation, there is no greater truth. May we all remain viscerally conscious of the profound opportunity that exists in crisis, breakdown or dismemberment of any sort-for when emerging from such trials, although wounded, the nobility of our human spirit has always triumphed. This understanding is foundational to the emotional resilience characteristic of our Pachakuti Mesa Tradition community. It is what continues to inspire my own seeking of authentic loving relationship as a means of walking in reverence and healing service to the great Sacred Web of Life. This magnificent web, in its sentient evolution toward wholeness, offers us glimpses into where it is torn, providing us ideal opportunities for refining our mastery as weavers of a new dreaming. I pray this personal musing on the discovery of beauty where there is not, becomes a fertile seed of shamanic healing for torn hearts everywhere. May your journey be rich in opportunity for accessing the sacred peacemaker within.

Lovingly, don Oscar

Our human Soul, the Aetheric Body, our Quintessence, the Cosmic Akasha, all contain mercurial qualities that purify and uplift the millennial shamanic virtues of our birthright-allowing the art of ceremonial communion to be a heartfelt Baptism of the Soul. During this Pachakuti Mesa Tradition gathering upon ancestrally consecrated ground, a Blessing Way emerges, a 'baptism' into a life of gentle, fluid, expansive Being in the world is revealed. The deep rivers of our soul await their ritualized expression as an offering of sacred presence in the world. Through authentic sacred community we become the container in which profound healing service is awakened throughout all worlds. In welcoming artful shamanic practice, ritual cleansing and personal renewal, transformation, growth and purification is elicited through the experience of Communion with All That Is.

In the words of don Oscar: "In recognizing one's place within the Golden Chain of initiates, or Aurea Catena, known to all aspirants of the Great Work, one becomes the eternal river, thus sanctifying the Earth with every breathe and step we take."

Watched over by venerable Apu Mt. Shasta, celebrating the radiant ebb and flow of Moon and Sun that reside within us all, you are invited to enter into communion with the deep rivers of your soul. Through sharing stories, singing songs, performing ceremonies, and awakening deep reverence for the sacred waters of our Earth we extend our beauty and grace in sacred partnership with the natural world. Such is the path of shamanic initiation sustained by the perennial medicine rivers of our soul.

$360 On-Site Tuition includes 6 Meals beginning with dinner on Oct 17th hru lunch Oct 19th and a complementary Sauna.
