Good News: Support for our Work
Our Jenkintown Creek Restoration Project will continue with two new grants from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) : $50,000 to match the MCPC $100,000 grant for work at Conklin Pool in Cheltenham and a Streamsmart House Call grant with our Upstream Collaborative partners, led by the Pennsylvania Environmental Council . Also, Olena Dikina, a Streamkeeper , successfully applied for a Jenkintown Creek grant from IBM !
We'll be planting the new rain garden at Alverthorpe Park this Saturday; this feature will complete our 2016 NFWF Jenkintown Creek grant.

We received a generous donation from Whole Foods Jenkintown through Nickels for Non-Profits. Thank you for donating nickels and using reusable bags! Unrestricted support is critical to our health and creativity.

We Need Wheels!
We need to get around our 30 square mile watershed to get our work done. To get trees to Jenkintown Creek sites...the Creekmobile to community events...and groups of stakeholders to see our engagement and restoration first hand. It's time for TTF to own a van! A vehicle will make us more productive, efficient, and visible. It will be a traveling ambassador for our clean water message.

Let's make it happen! Watch for news about our #TTFDreamVan Campaign.

Best,
Julie
