The 30th Annual Morristown Town Wide Clean-Up is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2020!
Registration and work assignments begin at 9am.
Clean up sites include parks, playgrounds, monuments, parking lots and roadways.
Families, individuals, churches, civic and school groups are encouraged to participate!
At 11:30am, an anniversary celebration & picnic will follow.

Cupid's Chase 5K:
Morristown Police Department Advisory
|
|
On Saturday, 02/08, Morristown will host the Cupid's Chase 5K which will feature several road closures for a brief time between 10 am and 11 am. Early St., Mills St., Colonial Rd., Milton Pl., Kenmuir Ave., Sussex Ave., Ralph Pl., Willard Pl., Marian Pl., Frederick St., Walker Ave., Cutler St., and Henry St. will all be closed to vehicle traffic during this time. The 5K race will launch from the Daily Plan-It, 152 Speedwell Ave., promptly at 10 am. Speedwell Ave. will remain open to vehicle traffic, with runners utilizing the curb lane for the race event. Once the runners have crossed over Sussex Ave. on the return trip, the Cutler Park neighborhood will reopen, including Sussex Ave. The closures on this northern most section will only be in effect for approximately 30 minutes. Uniformed officers and race volunteers will be on hand to assist motorists and effect detours around the race route.
Motorists traveling eastbound on Sussex Ave. will be detoured to Lake Rd., Burnham Rd., Mill Rd. and back to Speedwell Ave. in Morris Township. Motorists can also bypass the race route traveling from Sussex Ave. to Kahdena Rd. then Mendham Rd. (CR510,) in Morris Twp. Uniformed officers will make every attempt to facilitate resident traffic in these areas when the runners are not on the course, but will defer to the safety of the participants when the race is in progress.
A copy of the race route is attached. The Morristown Bureau of Police thanks you for you cooperation, and please use caution if traveling within this area tomorrow morning.
