This Sunday we will begin a 3-part series on the story of the Prodigal Son. If I could only tell one story to reflect the gospel message, this would be the story. We will begin with the younger son, who wants to strike out on his own, with no consideration for his family. I imagine many of us have had that urge. But what amazes me is the father's response to the younger son's demands. What does it tell us about God?
As Christ's body we are to offer that to people who do not have a church home. God is calling each of us to reach out to them. Please be in prayer. How is God asking you to reach out? I look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday.
Yours in Christ,
