As
you know, Pastiche Group loves a great social cause and this is one
that we are supporting because it is necessary. Over the past year,
we've seen so many amazing stories of displaced families and
unemployed colleagues, friends and family - many in need help urn
to their neighborhood churches for assistance. Church, for many in
the community, is a place of refuge.
Last winter was the coldest winter that the DMV (District, Maryland
and Virginia) area has seen in years. After learning of this
challenge to 'FEED THE NEED' we wanted an opportunity to share the
details with you.
This SaturdayNovember 6th,
2010 from 11a-3p join organizations, fraternities and sororities,
neighborhoods, colleagues, family and friends will team together to
help feed those in need this season, by donating gently used coats
and clothing (men, women and children's coats and clothing),
grocery gift cards and perishable donations at Emory United Methodist Church.
Last
year, Emory collected more than 1,250 pounds of
food with donations made to the EBOL food pantry and to
Capital Area Food Bank, 330 gently used coats and
$345 in grocery gift cards and donations. This
year they want to double their previous donation year for those in
need. Your donation to 'FEED THE NEED' is important to families,
children and individuals who can benefit from your
donation.

you are interested in donating gently used coats and clothing,
please feel free to drop them off on Saturday November 6,

stay warm this winter. Emory will provide coats and clothing @ 1pm
