I personally have been blessed by this organization. In early 2010, just turning 50, I found myself without healthcare, without employment, and in need of a mammogram. I had never had one and turning 50 was pushing my luck due to my family history. My mother is a breast cancer survivor, almost 20 years, and pushed me to find help. Several phone calls later got me to the program director at BCFO. BCFO then funded my mammogram. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at its earliest stage. The foundation helped pay monthly bills while I recuperated from surgery. BCFO was there as moral support and to help with all my questions and concerns. I don't know what would have happened to our family without this help. I would love to have this award go to The Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks..what a wonderful group..I am blessed.
