Come help JP Centre/South Main Streets and JP Shines at the Centre/South Streets Clean-Up on Saturday, March 29 from 9:00am to 11:00am.  

The snow is fading away and the central business district badly needs a shine.

Please meet at The Soldier's Monument (near the Loring-Greenough House) at 9am.  

We will provide trash bags and gloves and tools, but please bring a broom or rake if you have any.

If you are unable to make this clean-up, JP BAPA has other JP Shines volunteer opportunities: 

• They are asking local businesses to pledge to fund our own locally-paid hokey person. Contributions will go to match a grant for a person to sweep the sidewalks and streets on a regular basis. Several businesses, such as Boing! JP's Toy Shop have already pledged.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
• Please join the JP Shines organizing committee which meets on Wednesdays from 8:30am to 9:30am at JP Licks.  We are looking for people who can help us grow a grassroots movement to fight litter in Jamaica Plain.
