Help is needed to bring warmth

to many in Chester County who

are out of heat and out of options.

As you know, Chester County is currently experiencing an extended period of bitter cold with record breaking low temperatues. As harsh as it may be for many of us, there are others right here in Chester County that are unable to escape these conditions even in their own homes.

Right now, there are financially vulnerable seniors, families and individuals that can't cover the basic expenses to keep warm and safe through this extended cold period.

We are a community that steps up to help our neighbors in their time of need.
The need is great and the TIME IS NOW!

For this reason, we are raising funds in the next few days that will immediately be used to bring heat to these families.

United Way of Chester County will use these funds immediately to provide individuals and families who have exhausted all other avenues with the ability to "fill their tank" with heating oil, propane or with electric assistance to get them through the remainder of this frigid winter. Funds will be distributed through local United Way Partner Agencies who provide basic need services.
