Help Shape the Future of the Fashion District
Downtown Community Plans Open Studio and Design Charrette
Monday, October 3, - Saturday, October 8, 2016, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Historic Bradbury Building
304 S Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90013
This week-long workshop is an opportunity for community members to provide feedback to the Department of City Planning on its comprehensive update to the two existing community plans for DTLA. This is a chance to collaborate on a 30-year long plan that will define and shape the future of DTLA.

Mark up maps, ask questions and give your input on topics like urban design, land use, housing, mobility and economic development.

452 Residential Units Coming to 7th and Maple

Real Group and Los Angeles-based real estate firm Urban Offerings filed plans with the City of Los Angeles for a 33-story residential tower featuring 452 residential units and a partially underground garage for up to 561 vehicles. The mixed-use development would replace the surface parking on the corner of 7th and Maple Streets.

Urbanize LA notes, "Extensive greenery wraps the project at ground level and around its amenity decks.  A landscaped pedestrian paseo cuts along the property line, potentially providing a link to the adjacent Santee Village courtyard.  Upper levels will also feature a swimming pool, a barbeque area, a private dog park and a skyline observation space." Learn more about the project here.
