Community Action Partnership of Orange County (CAPOC) strives to enhance the quality of life in Orange County by preventing poverty and reducing its effects.

We are conducting the 2017 Community Needs Assessment, a survey to better understand the needs of the residents of Orange County. By completing this survey, you will help our organization identify important issues affecting our community so that we can help foster change.

This survey is taken anonymously (no names), and your responses will be kept confidential. This survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes of your time, and you will be given the opportunity to enter into a drawing for a $50 Target gift card.

We hope that you will take this opportunity to share your opinions to make Orange County healthier and more prosperous!

After you complete the survey, we strongly encourage you to share and forward this with your friends, family, and colleagues so that we may gain a greater understanding of all of Orange County's current needs!

For the first time ever, Community Action Partnership of Orange County had a booth at the Orange County Heritage Council's 37th annual Black History Month Parade and Cultural Faire in Anaheim on February 4, 2017.   This was our first major outreach community event for our 2017 Community Needs Assessment survey.  With the help of interns from Cal State University Fullerton and University of California Irvine, we  were also able to provide information on all of the services being provided by CAPOC and our OC Food Bank, including free tax services for those who qualify at our two Family Resource Centers. With the help of our 2017 OneOC AmeriCorps intern, Samantha Moyer who is assisting with volunteer recruitment, we are seeking more interns and volunteers to continue these outreach efforts over the next several months.

Our next outreach event will be at the Orange County Heritage Museum on Saturday, February 18, 2017 in their first ever event for Black History Month. Click Here for More Information!

Thanks for your time and dedication.

Sincerely,
Curtis Gibbs
