Meet Kim Hally, mother of 3, wife, sister, and aunt. In 2013, while attending one of her son's high school lacrosse games, Kim suffered a devastating brain stem stroke, resulting in brain damage and a severe loss of mobility. After her stroke, Kim's family made her a promise that would guide their entire fundraising campaign--t
hey vowed to get Kim out of the hospital and back home with her loved ones where she belongs.
With the support of HelpHOPELive, the Hallys were able to rally their entire community around their campaign and raise enough money to finance the extreme cost of Kim's care, including her lengthy stay at a rehabilitation hospital, ongoing physical therapy, and a wheelchair to help her get around.
Thanks to their loving community and guidance from HelpHOPELive, the Hallys finally made good on their promise: Kim is spending this holiday season at home with her loved ones for the first time since her stroke. While their journey is far from over, thanks to generous supporters like you, they'll be able to face this next chapter of Kim's recovery under one roof.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to our General Operating Fund, and help us bring more patients home for the holidays.
