Over the past weekend
Columbia Classical Ballet woke up to the news of a tremendous flood in the city. Lives were lost, homes and businesses destroyed, and among those businesses was Columbia Classical Ballet's home, the Pavlovich Dance School.
The school is a total loss. There was at least 8 feet of water at the peak of the floods covering the building. They will need to rebuild and are still assessing the total cost, but they do know that it is going to take at least $100,000 to get started on the road to rebuilding.
Two of the company's dancers will be guests artists this year at IYDT's production of "The Nutcracker." Please help us to keep them dancing... no amount is too small. Sharing this link would also be a huge help in spreading the word.
