Our thoughts and prayers are with all those in South Texas whose lives have been affected by the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. We’ve heard from many of you that you’d like to help, and there are ways that we can right now. The link below includes local organizing efforts as well as volunteer and donation info. First Church will also be collecting donations for Trusted World this Sunday, at the Community Service table . (Needed items listed HERE .) OUR CARING COMMUNITY

Our thoughts are with Kathy Lawrence's mother Dottie as she prepares for surgery on Tuesday, and Kevin and Peggy Yard as sister-in-law Trish undergoes cancer surgery on Thursday.

Healing thoughts and prayers go to Gail Mackey and Billie McAnally , who are both recovering from surgery.

We grieve with Kris and Mark Gillett as they mourn the death of Kris' sister, Pam Roeder , with Lisa Peterson whose grandmother Isabelle Walters died on Wednesday,  and with Peter Schaar as he mourns the death of his wife Julie .
