With the support of the Sangamon County Communities, Habitat for Humanity has built hope for over 85 families throughout the past 20 years. Together, we are moving families out of poverty housing - taking them out of kitchens without plumbing, walls covered in mold and living rooms with leaky roofs. We are bringing together volunteers to work side by side with future homeowners to build new, simple, decent and affordable homes and making it possible for hard working families to purchase homes through zero-interest mortgages.
