"I'm Coming Home" Adoption Program Update

Read below for more details

As you hopefully saw in November, we have started a program to get some of our "long term resident" cats into their forever homes. We are excited to announce that one of the cats featured in November (Kali) has been adopted. Hopefully the two cats featured this month will get the same results. .

For these two featured cats, if you adopt either one of them this month you will also get a $50 gift card to buy food/toys/supplies.

Each one of these cats has a unique history and a special personality and we know there's a special place for each of them to call home. If you are looking to adopt a cat, one of these wonderful cats may be just the one for you! We have biographies of all of the cats posted on our website.  You can read more below about our two featured cats for December, Ricky Roo and Sylvia.

To meet any of these very special cats, please make an appointment to visit our Morgan Hill facility. You may contact us at imcominghome@towncats.org. Please help us give each of these cats the forever home they deserve. If you are not able to adopt, please pass along this email to your friends and family. We know we can bring in the new year with a fresh start for these cats, their Forever Starts Now!

Ricky Roo

My name is Ricky Roo, but you can call me Mr. Independent! I love to play and I'm a super curious cat. I'm not too fond of other male cats because I think I should be the sheriff in town. I'm very smart and intuitive, and though I may take time to warm up to you, once I do you'll see what a special cat I am.

I enjoy the sun and following the staff around to oversee the cleaning (I am the boss, after all). The staff loves the fact that I am such a confident boy and I know what I want. I definitely play to the beat of my own drum. If you can handle all of my magnificence and you want a cat that is confident and strong, I am your man. I was brought to the shelter when I was found as kitten in a backyard. My sister was adopted a long time ago and I have been here roaming the shelter for over four years and I think it's time I find a place where I can be the king of my own castle. Are you my happily ever after?

If you are interested in meeting me you can contact Danielle by phone 408 778 6849 or email imcominghome@towncats.org to set up an appointment. My forever starts now!

Sylvia

Sylvia is an 8 year old beautiful large female black and white cat. She is the most mellow cat who loves her routines.  She loves to lay on her cat crib and observe the shelter and other cats. She loves to be pet but isn't fond of being picked up. Two of her favorite things are chasing the laser light and cat nip, she especially likes when the two are put combined.

She came to us in 2008 with the Alviso Ranch project when Town Cats helped trap and rescue 68 adult cats and 18 kittens from an old property in the country that was going to be demolished. Sylvia has come a long way from that dusty road and though she loves her friends at the shelter we think its time for her happy ending. Sylvia would make the best cat to curl up next on a couch and is such a loyal dear. She would love to meet you!

If you think Sylvia is the cat for you, please contact Danielle by phone 408 778 6849 or email imcominghome@owncats.org to set up an appointment to meet me.
