Help the Kelowna Chamber welcome Kasugai Visitors
Delegation of our Sister City here this August
We are delighted to welcome the President of the Kasugai Chamber of Commerce, and 16 other delegates from Kelowna's sister city of Kasugai - in just over ten days from now.
The delegation is only in Kelowna for three action-packed days, and
we are keeping them busy. They will be welcomed with a potluck dinner hosted by the Kelowna-Kasugai Sister City Association on Saturday night, August 20. All the delegates are "home-staying" in Kelowna to get a true flavour of Canadian life.
In March/April of this year, our Chamber hosted a trip to seven cities in Japan, including Kasugai, during cherry blossom season. Our group, including our President Tom Dyas, and Mayor Colin Basran,
(above) enjoyed three days of home stays in Kasugai; now it's our turn to return the favour.
