Support Your Local Farmer: Attend a Farmers Market!
Did you know one of the easiest--and tastiest--ways to support your local farmers is to shop at one of many Farmers Markets around the state? Stone fruits, tomatoes and the last of the berries are plentiful at the
Oregon City Farmers Market, open on Saturdays from 9am-2pm, as well as the
Milwaukie Sunday Farmers Market, open 9:30am-2pm on Sundays. Both are on the
Farmlandia Farm Loop. Also the
Molalla Farmers Market offers a nice variety of produce and nursery stock. Located on the
Molalla Country Farm Loop.
If you haven't taken a cooking class at
Bob's Red Mill Whole Grain Store
in Milwaukie, you are in for a treat!
August & September classes include "Whole Grains 101," "International Bowl Meals" and "Koren Favorites." Prices vary, and seating is limited so call soon to reserve your spot. On the Farmlandia Farm Loop
.
Summertime = Perfect Wine Time
