WallsTumble...And the Walls Came Tumbling Down
Wednesdays, 21 & 28 and April 4, 10:30 am
Led by Yossi Afek
For nearly 1500 years, since the destruction of the 2 nd Temple in Jerusalem (70 CE), Judaism built around itself an impregnable spiritual wall in the form of Halacha. Then the Jewish community in Spain was destroyed and the walls came tumbling down. Challenges to traditional Judaism came from every quarter. Can the roots of these challenges really be traced to the earthquake of the Sephardic catastrophe? Let's debate! You are welcome to attend any or all sessions. No RSVP necessary. Click here for more information.

Note: Class handouts and materials are often available in advance, along with recommended reading. Look for the new "Adult Education Courses" shelf in the M'kor Shalom Library.

To share programming ideas, contact Gail Donner and Art Treiman with your suggestions. New committee members always welcome.
