SPECIAL EVENTS/SPECIAL PROJECTS
Informational Meeting: Wednesday, August 2, 7:30 pm 
This meeting will provide an opportunity to learn the essential, confidential terms of the proposal of the "grassy lot" of our property. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn any ramifications of the sale.
Voting Meeting: Tuesday, August 8, 7:30 pm 
Only current members who are in good standing are entitled to vote. That means you must have returned your signed and completed 2017-2018 Brit Kodesh, along with your initial payment by August 8, and your prior obligations to the synagogue must be paid in full and be current

If you need the forms or have any questions, please contact the synagogue office. Kindly return your completed forms and initial payment as soon as possible. As always, our Financial Secretary is available to discuss any financial concerns you may have. (Note: there will be no processing fee if you charge your entire 2017-2018 share in full).

Exploring Your Personal Judaism

An ongoing conversation that gets people really thinking about their own beliefs on topics such as good and evil, destiny vs. free will, ritual and tradition, the meaning of the word "God" and more of Judaism's Big Questions.

The Ritual Committee is currently planning Shabbat programming for the fall. Contact Bob Kernish to let us know topics that interest you and if there are any sessions you would consider leading.

CARING COMMUNITY / HEALTH & WELLNESS
Our Caring Community volunteers are here to help congregants in need of support.
Volunteers provide: Transportation, Meals on a short-term basis, Shopping, Telephone reassurance, Friendly visits, Shiva set-up assistance
If you or someone in your family is confined to home because of illness or injury, M'kor Shalom's Caring Community volunteers are here to help. Please contact Jane Bloom or the synagogue office, so our volunteers can respond to your needs.

RELIGIOUS SCHOOL
Calligrapher Needed
M'kor Shalom's Religious School is looking for a volunteer calligrapher to help with certificates. This will be just an hour or so of your time. To find out more, contact 
Merle Steinberg.

Registration Forms for 2017-2018 
We ask that you complete the Religious School Tuition Deposit Form and return it to us as soon as possible, along with your deposit, so that we can best plan our classes, teachers and the curriculum. Religious School tuition is included on the synagogue Membership Forms. For more information, contact the Religious School Office at 856-424-4304 or stop by during regular office hours. 

There are always great things happening at our Religious School. Tell your unaffiliated friends! Contact Merle Steinberg for more information.

Recycle Your Empty Ink Jet and Laser Printer Cartridges! Old cell phones, too!
We have collection bins in both the main office and the school office. Drop off during regular office hours. These materials will be recycled and the congregation will receive a cash rebate. A win-win opportunity!
