WomensTripWomen's Israel Trip
November 1-11, 2018!
In response to overwhelming requests, M'kor Shalom is organizing a women's trip to Israel next year! The key details:
* 8-night trip (10 full touring days)   
* an Israel experience for first-time or multi-time travelers 
* estimated cost is $4550 per person, including transportation (land + air), tips, insurance and more 
* open to congregants and those traveling with them 
* a multi-generational experience for women ages 21 & up 
* a minimum of 21 women (maximum of 40) 
If we have enough interest, we will have a full informational meeting after the fall holidays with all the trip details. A deposit of would be due by December 1, 2017. If you are interested, contact Merle Steinberg as soon as possible. Be sure to include your full name and any questions or comments.

Potluck Planning Brunch

Our Caring Community volunteers are here to help congregants in need of support.
Volunteers provide: Transportation, Meals on a short-term basis, Shopping, Telephone reassurance, Friendly visits, Shiva set-up assistance
If you or someone in your family is confined to home because of illness or injury, M'kor Shalom's Caring Community volunteers are here to help. Please contact Jane Bloom or the synagogue office, so our volunteers can respond to your needs.

Enjoy an evening in the sukkah, sharing your favorite dessert recipes. Bring a nut-free dessert & a friend. Or, just show up to enjoy other entrant's recipes. Prizes awarded! To submit a recipe for the evening's cookbook, please email your recipe in Microsoft Word format to Pam Girgenti. $5 per person; open to the community. RSVP your attendance by September 25.

ShopRite, Acme, Short Hills Deli, Barnes & Noble, Bed Bath & Beyond, CVS, Panera Bread and Starbucks gift cards are always available in the synagogue office during regular office hours. CVS gift cards may be used for prescriptions as well as other items.  Please note: We no longer offer online ordering of gift cards.

Recycle Your Empty Ink Jet and Laser Printer Cartridges! Old cell phones, too!
We have collection bins in both the main office and the school office. Drop off during regular office hours. These materials will be recycled and the congregation will receive a cash rebate. A win-win opportunity!
