Exploring Your Personal Judaism

Led by Scott Kushner
An ongoing conversation that gets people really thinking about their own beliefs on topics such as good and evil, destiny vs. free will, ritual and tradition, the meaning of the word "God" and more of Judaism's Big Questions.

The Ritual Committee is currently planning Shabbat programming for the fall. Contact Bob Kernish to let us know topics that interest you and if there are any sessions you would consider leading.

At this meeting, we will talk about the committee, its goals and mission and begin to plan for the upcoming year. Open to those who already are on and those who wish to join our committee.
If you want to share any ideas prior to the meeting, or at any other time, contact Gail Donner with your suggestions. 
Our Caring Community volunteers are here to help congregants in need of support.
Volunteers provide: Transportation, Meals on a short-term basis, Shopping, Telephone reassurance, Friendly visits, Shiva set-up assistance
If you or someone in your family is confined to home because of illness or injury, M'kor Shalom's Caring Community volunteers are here to help. Please contact Jane Bloom or the synagogue office, so our volunteers can respond to your needs.

Tuition Deposit Forms Are Due
We ask that you complete the Religious School Tuition Deposit Form and return it to us as soon as possible, along with your deposit, so that we can best plan our classes, teachers and the curriculum.
Religious School tuition is included on the synagogue Membership Forms. For more information, contact the Religious School Office at 856-424-4304 or stop by during regular office hours. 

There are always great things happening at our Religious School. Tell your unaffiliated friends! Contact Merle Steinberg for more information.

Join the men of M'kor Shalom for lunch and conversation. This month we return to Short Hills Deli! No RSVP necessary. Pay your own way.

Check out our extensive collection of Judaic fiction and nonfiction, DVDs, audio books on CDs and children's books - all of which can be borrowed at no cost! Many t hanks to the generosity of those who have donated to the Library Fund this past year. (Overdue books will incur late fees .)

ShopRite, Acme, Short Hills Deli, Barnes & Noble, Bed Bath & Beyond, CVS, Panera Bread and Starbucks gift cards are always available in the synagogue office during regular office hours. CVS gift cards may be used for prescriptions as well as other items.  Please note: We no longer offer online ordering of gift cards.

Recycle Your Empty Ink Jet and Laser Printer Cartridges! Old cell phones, too!
We have collection bins in both the main office and the school office. Drop off during regular office hours. These materials will be recycled and the congregation will receive a cash rebate. A win-win opportunity!
