Kidsport has some exciting things planned for the St. Patrick’s Day Gala on Mar 17 th , 2018 at the Stettler Community Center. Cocktails begin at 5:30 with dinner, silent and live auction to follow and a dance with “Klay the DJ”. Your support makes it possible “So All Kids Can Play” and stays in the Stettler district. Tickets cost $50 per person. Catered by Brenda’s Catering.

·         Kidsport distributed over $50,000.00 to help over 150 kids in 2017
·         All money stays in Stettler and funds things like a free swim and public skating as well as registration & equipment fees for any sport or active living activity.
·         Without the support of Kidsport’s generous donors and the Stettler & District community unfortunately many kids would not get to participate in activities that they want to.
·         KidSport objective is to encourage a healthy, active lifestyle regardless of their family’s financial situation and believe that keeping active helps kids stay in school and off the streets. Active children are more likely to be able to communicate and socialize better and learn to cooperate with their peers helping building lifelong friendships.

2018’s projection is for a 10 percent increase over last year, because although the economy is stabilizing, it is possibly for slight climb in participants as the recovery process for families will not be instantaneous. Kidsport’s goal is for these hardships to have the least impact on the children as possible. For tickets to the gala or to make a donation email stettler@kidsport.ab.ca
